Spain: Pension marches to Madrid commences September 20, protest on October 16
Various groups schedule marches to Madrid to protest pension reform as of September 20; associated transportation disruptions expected

Several groups have scheduled marches to Madrid departing from various cities beginning on Friday, September 20.
Groups in Rota will depart on Friday. Groups in Bilbao will depart to Madrid on Monday, September 23.
All groups will gather for a large protest, to take place on Wednesday, October 16, at 11:00 (local time). Participants will gather in Sol, likely at the metro station, and march to the Congress of Deputies at 12:00. Related protests are to be expected in other urban centers across Spain.
Associated transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence is to be expected around all marching groups and at all protests.
