Colombia: Judiciary branch calls 48-hour nationwide strike October 2-3

Judiciary branch staff has called for a 48-hour strike, from Wednesday, October 2, through Thursday, October 3. The judiciary branch called the strike to communicate a variety of grievances, including concerns over infrastructure, personnel, and investments in technology. Justice system reform was also cited as a concern.

Associated protests are to be expected in Bogota and other urban centers across the country. Transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are likely in the vicinity of any protest.
