Spain: Month-long education strike to begin in Basque region on November 7

Unions representing education sector staff in the Basque region are to hold a month-long strike as of Thursday, October 7, in demand of improved contractual agreements. The strike will end on Thursday, December 5.

Associated protests are to be expected throughout this period, particularly in Bilbao, as unions hold protests regularly. Transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of any protests.
