Spain: Transportation strike in Cantabria November 5-9

Three transportation unions in Cantabria have called for a strike from Tuesday, November 5, through Saturday, November 9, to protest the employers' refusal of a salary increase. Should the strike go ahead, all public transportation will be affected throughout the region. Travel into nearby Bilbao may also be affected.

Public transportation interruptions are to be expected. Associated localized transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are expected in the vicinity of any associated protests.
