Greece: 5.2-magnitude earthquake hits west of Neochorion (Western Greece Region) February 6

The US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a 5.2-magnitude earthquake 21 km (13 mi) west of Neochorion (Western Greece Region) at approximately 11:24 (local time) on Thursday, February 6. The quake struck at a depth of 10 km (6 mi). There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage and no tsunami warnings were immediately issued.

Aftershocks are possible in the affected area over the coming hours and days.
