Hundreds of refugee and migrant protesters demonstrated on Lesbos for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, February 4, to denounce prevailing conditions in migrant camps and the perceived slow speed at which requests for asylum are reviewed. Residents of the island gathered in front of a government building in a separate demonstration on Tuesday to protest the existence of the migrant camps on the island. Both demonstrations were dispersed without incident.
