A far-right demonstration has been planned in Berlin on Saturday, October 3. The Third Way group has called on supporters to gather at 14:00 (local time) at the Wartenberg S-Bahn station and march to Linden-Center Berlin. Rival protest groups are expected to stage counter-demonstrations. Clashes between demonstrating groups are possible and a heightened security presence should be anticipated in the vicinity of the rallies.

Separately, the demonstrations coincide with a national public holiday, Germany Unity Day, which will see celebrations taking place at Brandenburg Gate. A heightened security presence should also be anticipated in this area.
