Police in The Hague are responding to a shooting incident that took place at around 06:00 (local time) on Thursday, November 12, whereby an unidentified person fired a gun at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the Koninginnegracht area. The area surrounding the building was cordoned off by police and investigations are ongoing. No casualties have been reported following the incident; however, light damage to the building's façade was reported.
Continued traffic disruptions in the vicinity are to be anticipated in the immediate term, along with a heightened police presence as investigations continue.
