Preliminary information suggests that a letter bomb exploded, injuring three employees, though this has not been confirmed by authorities or company officials. A similar incident occurred at a beverage manufacturing company in Eppelheim, approximately 50 km (31 miles) west of Neckarsulm Feb. 16. As of yet, investigators have not determined whether the two incidents are linked.
