Demonstrators are blocking traffic in multiple areas of Bogota as of 21:30 Oct. 28. TransMilenio bus service is suspended between Portal 20 de Julio and Primero de Mayo Avenue. Protesters reportedly erected a barricade at Caracas Avenue and 76B Street. Traffic disruptions are also being reported in Usme and Las Aguas areas. Isolated clashes between security forces and demonstrators have been reported in some areas.

Heightened security and localized business and transport disruptions are likely near all protest sites. Confrontations between protesters and the security forces are possible if demonstrators are overly disruptive, ignore police orders to disperse, or engage in acts of public violence.
