Law enforcement officials are investigating the killing of a French citizen, which occurred Nov. 11 at a beach house in the neighborhood of El Rodadero, in Santa Marta, Magdalena department. The victim was stabbed. Reports indicate the victim was visiting Colombia as a tourist. Authorities believe two men who identified themselves as workers doing repairs in the house are the main suspects. Officials said the apparent motive was a robbery. No arrests have as yet been made.
