British Virgin Islands: COVID-19-related international travel requirements remain largely unchanged as of June 29 /update 51
COVID-19-related international travel restrictions in the British Virgin Islands remain unchanged as of June 29, as compared with mid-June.
Event
As of June 29, the COVID-19-related international travel restrictions in force in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) remain largely unchanged by comparison with those in effect during the middle of the month. No domestic restrictions are in effect.
International Travel Restrictions
Entry requirements are the same for all travelers entering BVI, regardless of vaccination status. All travelers aged five and older must present a negative result from COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival. Any traveler who tests positive must quarantine for seven days. Those in quarantine can be released after receiving a negative rapid antigen test.
Travelers no longer need to register with the BVI Gateway Travel Portal, show proof of insurance, or demonstrate proof of vaccination status.
Travelers may enter BVI through Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) and the seaports Road Town Jetty; Soper’s Hole Dock, West End; Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke; or Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
