Police and other emergency services are responding to an earlier vehicle ramming in Berlin's Charlottenburg area June 8. A vehicle drove into a crowd in Breitscheidplatz, killing one person and injuring at least ten others. Police have arrested the driver; their motive remains unclear. Numerous roads have been closed throughout the area to facilitate the emergency response, including Kurfurstendamm, Rankestrasse, and Tauentzienstrasse.
