Bolivia: Civic organization to launch 24-hour strike in Santa Cruz Department July 25

The Pro-Santa Cruz Committee (Comite pro Santa Cruz) plans to stage a 24-hour strike throughout Santa Cruz Department Department July 25. The purpose of the action is to condemn the government's postponement of the local census until 2023. Many businesses across different sectors will likely close to participate in the work stoppage.
