Senegal: Air Senegal reverses earlier decision to suspend Libreville-Cotonou-Douala route effective Oct. 30 /update 1

Air Senegal reverses decision to suspend route serving Benin, Gabon, and Cameroon starting Oct. 30. Reduced number of flights to continue.

Informational

Event

Air Senegal (HC) has reversed its Oct. 10 decision to suspend service along the carrier's Central Africa route starting Oct. 30. The route serves Benin's Cotonou Cadjehoun International Airport (COO), Cameroon's Douala International Airport (DLA) and Gabon's Libreville Leon Mba International Airport (LBV). Company officials had announced plans to cancel the route due to its generating insufficient business; however, they reconsidered the move following significant customer complaints. Flights along the route will continue beyond Oct. 30, albeit at a reduced level of twice weekly rather than the current four days per week.

Advice

Reconfirm flights if planning to travel along HC's Central Africa route after Oct. 30.
