Mexico: Protesters plan to gather in Veracruz Nov. 6 to denounce utility company

Protesters under the banner of the Independent Civil Movement (Movimiento Civil Independiente, MOCi) plan to hold a demonstration in central Veracruz Nov. 6 to denounce the Grupo MAS utility company for its allegedly unfair rates. Activists will gather at the Tramway of Remembrance at 17:00 and leave at 18:00 to march along Independencia Avenue to the Veracruz Memorial (Zocalo de Veracruz), where they will hold a rally. Protesters may also encamp by the Municipal Palace of Veracruz.
