As of Dec. 11, flight disruptions are ongoing at multiple Moscow area airports due to heavy snow. Authorities have canceled or delayed more than 50 flights at Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO), Domodedovo Airport (DME), and Vnukovo International Airport (VKO); the disruptions began Dec. 10.

Any further inclement weather could exacerbate the current situation; once services do normalize, lingering disruptions are likely as authorities reposition aircraft and clear the backlog of flights.
