Various state workers, including roads service, are to strike in Northern Ireland, UK, from April 20-26.

Road Service, Rivers Agency, Forest Service, and the Environment Agency workers in Northern Ireland will strike for seven days from April 20 over a pay dispute. The Department for Infrastructure has warned of disruptions to the maintenance of road infrastructure, response times to flood emergencies, and response to roadway clean-up operations. The Strangford Lough Ferry Service will be suspended for the duration of the strike.

Striking workers may initiate pickets in support of the strike. Any action is likely to pass off without major disruption.
