Mexico: Clashes between military personnel and unidentified armed assailants taking place in Nuevo Laredo May 18

Gunfire and roadblocks have been reported in Nuevo Laredo during the late afternoon of May 18 amid clashes between Mexican military personnel and likely members of drug trafficking organizations (DTO). City authorities are advising the public to remain in their homes or places of employment. There have as yet been no reports of casualties.
