Activist groups to demonstrate at the Chinese Embassy in London, UK, June 4, to commemorate the Tiananmen Square event in 1989. Attendees will gather at Trafalgar Square from 17:00, then at 19:00 will march to the Chinese Embassy on Portland Place. A vigil will be held 20:00-22:00. It is not known how many will attend, although several hundred participated in previous events in 2021 and 2022.

Police will likely deploy to monitor and facilitate the demonstration. The event will likely pass off peacefully. Some road closures and limited traffic disruptions are possible.
