Over 30 train stations on the Gramacho-Saracuruna line were closed due to an alleged theft of a feeder cable, which caused a power blackout on July 20. Power was reportedly restored as of 18:10 on July 21. However, reports indicate train travel on some lines, including Saracuruna to Central and the Vila Inhomirim and Guapimirim extensions, remain suspended.
