Several unions representing police officers, firefighters, coastguards, and soldiers will lead a protest dubbed the "Pan-Hellenic Uniformed Protest" in Thessaloniki on Sept. 8. Participants will gather at the White Tower of Thessaloniki on Nikis Avenue from 18:00. The unions have several demands, including a wage increase and official recognition of the high danger of their professions.
