Disability rights campaigners plan to protest at the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family in Athens, Dec. 28. Activists led by the Coordinating Committee of the Struggle for the Disabled (SEAAN) will denounce the eviction of a family from a building in the Ano Petralona district on Dec. 19. Attendees will gather from 13:00 at the Ministry building on Dragatsaniou Street. Several hundred people are likely to take part, based on the impromptu protests that followed the eviction.
Transport disruptions and heightened security are likely in the vicinity of the protest.
