Netherlands: Flight disruptions ongoing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Dec. 3 due to severe weather

Flight disruptions are ongoing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) Dec. 3 due to severe winter weather. As of 12:00 authorities have cancelled approximately 150 flights, both arriving and departing. If the weather deteriorates further, additional cancellations are likely.

It is unclear when flights will normalize, and once they do lingering disruptions are likely as authorities clear the backlog of flights; disruptions could last into Dec. 4.
