Pro-Palestine activists plan to demonstrate at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, Jan. 26. The ICJ will rule on a case - brought by South Africa - alleging Israeli genocide in Gaza. The announcement is due at 13:00. In a previous demonstration, Jan. 11, several hundred protesters took part and counterprotesters also gathered at the Court. It is likely that several hundred to low thousands will participate.
Additional police will likely be deployed to monitor the protest. Road closures and enhanced security measures will likely prompt localized traffic disruptions. The demonstration is likely to pass off peacefully, although scuffles with counterprotesters cannot be ruled out.
