The Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company plans to cut gas supply in parts of Dhaka 11:00-14:00 Feb. 27 to facilitate work on the company's gas transmission lines. Outages will affect the utilty provider's commercial, industrial, and residential users. Several areas will be impacted, including, Eskaton, Gabtoli, Greenway, Hatirjheel, Mirerbagh, Modhubag, Moghbazar, Nayatola, Paribagh, and Tejgaon. Low gas pressure may occur in the surrounding regions.
Associated commercial disruptions are possible at businesses in the affected area, which rely on natural gas supply for their operations. Localized traffic disruptions are possible where gas lines must be excavated for repair.
