Bangladesh: Scheduled gas supply outage to occur in parts of Dhaka Feb. 28

Utility provider Titas Gas will cut gas supply to parts of Dhaka for 15 hours starting from 09:00 Feb. 28, to facilitate emergency repair work on the company's gas lines. The company has indicated that all customers will be affected in several areas, such as Eskaton, Gabtoli, Hatirjheel, Modhubag, Moghbazar, Paribagh, and Tejgaon. Low gas pressure may occur in the surrounding regions. It remains unclear whether the repairs will require any excavation work.

Associated commercial disruptions are possible at businesses in the affected area, which rely on natural gas supply for their operations. Localized traffic disruptions are possible in any areas where gas lines must be excavated for repair.
