Argentina: Aviation sector workers cancel nationwide strike planned for March 28-29 /update 1
Unionized pilots and other aviation sector workers cancel strike in Argentina originally planned March 28-29.
Unionized civil aviation sector workers in Argentina, including members of the Airline Pilots Association (Asociacion de Pilotos de Lineas Aereas, APLA), have canceled plans to hold a 48-hour nationwide strike over salary disputes; the industrial action was originally slated to take place March 28-29. The decision came after unions reached a partial agreement on salary with Aerolineas Argentinas (AR) and Intercargo. The strike would have mainly impacted operations at AR.
