Argentina: Unionized workers planning demonstration, airport blockade in Cordoba May 25 to denounce President Milei

Unionized public workers affiliated with the State Workers Association (Asociacion Trabajadores del Estado, ATE) are planning a day of demonstrations in Cordoba May 25 to denounce President Milei and his policies during a presidential visit. Activists are planning to blockade the Ambrosio Taravella Airport (COR) on Route E53 and to rally at the Cordoba Fair Complex.

Heightened security, as well as localized transit and business disruptions, are likely near protest sites. Disruptions to road access to COR are likely. Clashes cannot be discounted.
