Environmental activist groups, including Extinction Rebellion and Fridays for Future, will demonstrate in the Zuidas area of Amsterdam on May 31. Climate activists will denounce the financing of the fossil fuel industry. Participants will gather in Gustav Mahler Square at 14:00. Attendance could reach the low thousands. Although a march through the area has not been announced, impromptu processions, road blockades, and other acts of civil disobedience cannot be ruled out.
