Argentina: Transport strike affects some bus lines in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area June 7
Strike by transport workers affects some bus lines in Argentina's Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area June 7.
Employees of ERSA, a transportation company that operates buses in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, have declared a 24-hour strike for June 7. As a result of the strike, service on the 19, 133, 140, 153, 184, 253, and 321 bus lines throughout the area, which comprises the city of Buenos Aires and the adjacent districts of Buenos Aires Province, is suspended.
Increased demand for other bus lines and alternative services such as taxis may cause further transport disruptions.
Reconfirm all planned bus transport in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area June 7. Allow extra time for travel, and expect increased congestion on available services.
