Unionized pilots employed by Aer Lingus (EI) plan to conduct a nationwide work-to-rule strike in Ireland June 26-July 2. The purpose of the labor action is to demand salary increases. The airline has announced plans to cancel 10-20 percent of its flights during the strike period in an effort to minimize the impact of the action. Some delays to operating flights are also possible.
Reconfirm flight arrangements and schedules if booked to fly on Aer Lingus during the work-to-rule action time frame. Do not check out of accommodations before reconfirming onward travel.
