The environmental group Extinction Rebellion (XR) plans to protest and block the N205 Road in Haarlem, Amsterdam, from 13:00 June 7. Several hundred people could attend. In previous events, law enforcement officers carried out multiple arrests. Similar attendance numbers and police tactics are likely.
Additional police will likely be deployed to monitor the protest. Authorities will likely organize diversions to minimize the impact of the protest blockade; however, road travel disruptions and transport disruptions are likely near Haarlem through June 7.
