Argentina: Anti-government organizations plan to march and rally in downtown Buenos Aires July 12 to demand the release of several activists

Anti-government activists affiliated with several organizations and political parties, including the Polo Obrero, plan tomarch and rally in downtown Buenos Aires on July 12. The purpose of the action is to demand the release of four activists who have been detained since a June 12 demonstration. Participants will gather at the intersection of Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida de Mayo starting at 15:00 before marching to Plaza de Mayo, where a rally will be held. The event will probably draw several hundred attendees.

Localized transport disruptions and heightened security are likely in the area. Clashes between protesters and police cannot be ruled out.
