Tight security is likely in parts of Rio de Janeiro's North Zone early July 29 after reports of armed clashes in the Bras de Pina, Cordovil, and Penha Circular areas of the city. Reports suggest at least two people were injured in the Quitungo area of Bras de Pina. No disruptions to the Red Line expressway have been reported as of early July 29.
