As of early July 15, authorities are continuing their response to a suspected car bombing that took place outside of Hada Top Coffee in Mogadishu's Boondheere District late July 14. The blast reportedly left at least five people dead and 20 others injured, with the establishment having been full of patrons watching the Euro 2024 soccer finals. No group has as yet claimed responsibility for the incident.

Officials will almost certainly maintain a heightened security posture in the affected as they continue their response and investigation. Associated localized business and transport disruptions are highly likely over the coming hours.
