Firefighters are responding to a large fire in Cafelandia, Parana, as of late Aug. 22. The blaze reportedly started in the Copacol factory but has spread to the surrounding industrial area. At least 30 firefighters and six vehicles have been deployed. There are no immediate reports of casualties. Heavy smoke and transit disruptions have been reported.

Cafelandia is approximately 162 km (101 miles) northeast of Foz do Iguacu.
