Shooting on Hans Tavsens Gade in Norrebro district, Copenhagen, Denmark, leaves one dead and one injured on evening Aug. 8.
Authorities are continuing to respond to an earlier shooting on Hans Tavsens Gade in Copenhagen's Norrebro district as of late evening Aug. 8. Two victims were reported, one of which has reportedly died. Authorities are reportedly conducting a search operation, and the area is cordoned off as of late evening.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions will likely continue throughout the Norrebro neighborhood, particularly near Hans Tavsens Gade, into the morning hours Aug. 9 or until authorities conclude their operations.
Avoid the affected area as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling in the Norrebro neighborhood. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
