Argentina: Unionized air traffic control workers cancel series of nationwide strikes, Sept. 6-28 /update 1
Unionized air traffic controllers suspend strikes at airports across Argentina that were planned Sept. 6-28.
Air traffic controllers affiliated with the Association of Technicians and Employees of Air Navigation Protection and Security (ATEPSA) issued a statement late Sept. 5 calling off a series of nationwide strikes planned for September. This decision came after the Argentinian Ministry of Labor called for a conciliation process with ATEPSA to negotiate the union's demands for higher wages.
