Bangladesh: Bus drivers staging indefinite strike in Barisal Division as of Sept. 11

Bus drivers are participating in an indefinite strike in Barisal Division as of Sept. 11 to demand a ban on three-wheelers vehicles on highways. Reports indicate that around 14 bus routes at Barishal Nathullabad central bus terminal are suspended due to the work stoppage.

Activists may hold protests during the labor action period. The largest demonstrations will likely occur in Barisal city, especially near bus depots, government buildings, public squares, and major roadways. Each gathering may draw dozens of participants.
