Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists are protesting outside of the Secretariat building in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala State, to demand the resignation of Kerala Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, on Sept. 9. Initial reports indicate police have barricaded the area and have used water cannons to disperse the demonstration. BJYM members attempted to cross the barricades, leading to clashes between protestors and the authorities. Participation in the protest is in the hundreds.
