Mexico: Activists marching in Oaxaca, Oaxaca State, on Sept. 21

Activists affiliated with the Student Coordinator of the State Normal School of Oaxaca (Coordinadora Esudiantil Normalista del Estado de Oaxaca, CENEO) are marching from the Fuente de las Ocho Regiones to the Zocalo in Oaxaca as of the afternoon Sept. 21. The purpose of the demonstration is to denounce alleged police brutality against student activists.

Officials will likely deploy security personnel to monitor and manage the march. Transport disruptions will probably affect the demonstration's vicinity. Clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out.
