Anti-fascist activists plan to demonstrate at the Courthouse in Thessaloniki from 09:00 Oct. 15. Campaigners will denounce the arrest of two activists at a rally in 2021. Several dozen to low hundreds of participants may attend.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely in the vicinity of the demonstration. Though unlikely, low-level confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers cannot be ruled out.
Avoid all demonstration areas as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling near any gatherings or marches. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
