A multinational investment bank and financial services firm sought to enhance its travel risk management (TRM) program to better protect its employees and ensure operational continuity during critical events. The firm’s goal was to build a strong program that would leverage advanced technology to maintain an effective accountability process, enable clear and timely communication with all employees, and integrate executive protection and critical outreach support. Their goal was to implement a proactive, streamlined, and comprehensive approach to managing risk that would equip their small but dedicated team with the intelligence and resources needed to inform and safeguard employees, as well as support business continuity more effectively.
Protecting and Informing Travelers Using an Integrated Approach to Risk Management
The firm will implement a tailored travel risk management solution by Crisis24 based on the ISO 31030 TRM guidelines, with a focus on seamless technology integration and intelligence analysis. At the core is Crisis24’s Horizon intelligence hub to enhance visibility of relevant threats and provide real-time insights to manage risks to people and operations more effectively. The solution will incorporate embedded intelligence analysts to expand the firm’s resources and provide deep, focused risk assessments to determine the level of risk exposure at any given time and location. Executive-level briefings will help inform decision-making and improve outcomes when an event occurs, and social media/dark web monitoring will be performed for their key executives.
The firm will be able to deliver on its duty of care obligations in a robust, scalable, and repeatable manner. When a critical event occurs, Crisis24 will leverage the Horizon platform on the firm’s behalf to pinpoint travelers at risk, actively confirm their safety, and execute tailored assistance protocols, while keeping the firm regularly updated. Crisis24’s medical and security assistance will be activated through a dedicated 24/7 hotline utilizing its global medical network and health intelligence, as well as real-time alerting. The firm will also benefit from Crisis24’s expertise in executive protection and security policy review, along with a white-glove approach to service and support.
Finally, to keep employees reliably informed, the integration of a mass notification system will facilitate fast and effective communication with all employees during events (including non-travelers) within a single, easy-to-use platform. By trusting Crisis24 as their single security and risk management partner, the firm will gain access to a wide breadth of integrated services that will support their operational needs and establish a more resilient and effective TRM program for the future.
