Netherlands: Amsterdam-Brussels trains disrupted this weekend
Train service running from Amsterdam to Brussels disrupted over weekend of November 4-5
Event
Due to maintenance work being undertaken on the Dutch Rail (NS) network, high-speed intercity (IC) trains between Brussels and Amsterdam will be disrupted this weekend, November 4-5. All trains from Brussels will terminate at Antwerp Central Station (Belgium) on both days. Passengers wishing to continue on to destinations north of Antwerp - i.e. to Rotterdam, The Hague, Schiphol International Airport, and Amsterdam - will have to disembark at Antwerp, take a domestic train to Noorderkempen, and then a substitution bus to Breda. At Breda, IC and NS trains to Rotterdam and stations further north will be available.
This track work will not affect Thalys services.
Advice
Travelers are advised to plan accordingly and allow for longer travel times.
