On Sunday, March 25, an explosion was reported in Mogadishu's Sayidka junction. Early reports indicate a car filled with explosives was detonated at a security checkpoint alongside Interior Ministry Headquarters near the Federal Parliament building. Sporadic gunfire was reportedly heard in the area immediately following the blast. Security forces have been deployed to the scene; details are still emerging.
