The Argentine National Meteorological Service issued an alert for various regions in the northeast, including the capital Buenos Aires, at 04:30 (local time) on Friday, April 20. The alert warns of torrential rain and violent thunderstorms in the following areas: the north of Buenos Aires province (including the capital), the east of Córdoba, all of Entre Ríos, and the center and south of Santa Fe. Associated flooding and transportation disruptions are possible.

Individuals present in affected areas are advised to follow weather reports and adhere to any advice issued by the local authorities. In the event of flooding, remember that driving or walking through running water can be dangerous - 15 cm (6 in) of running water is enough to knock over an adult.
