Algeria: Four militants and seven soldiers killed in Skikda July 30

On Tuesday, July 31, Algerian security officials announced that violent clashes broke out between security forces and militants in Azzaba (Skikda province) on Monday, July 30. According to local reports, four militants and seven soldiers were killed in the fighting. Security forces reportedly seized weapons and ammunition during the operation. As of Tuesday, July 31, the identity of the militants remains unclear.

Context
