Strikes by employees of the Buenos Aires metro (subte) system are set to continue on Friday, August 17. Services on all metro and premetro (tramway) lines will be suspended from 13:00 to 14:00 (local time) and turnstiles in stations along all six metro lines will be opened from noon until 13:00 and from 14:00 to 15:00, allowing passengers to enter without paying.
