Greece: Strong winds affect ferry services Sep. 26-28

Event

Strong winds have been affecting various regions in Greece - including the Peloponnese, Attica, Evia, the Cyclades, the Aegean Islands, and Crete - since Wednesday, September 26, and are expected to persist until Friday. The Greek meteorological service has issued an orange alert. Ferries departing from the ports of Piraeus (Athens), Rafina, and Lavrio have been suspended, along with ferries in the Ionian and Aegean seas.
